XyloSHIELD

XyloSHIELD™ Perimeter Defense is the liquid half of the Offense & Defense System — a heavy-duty botanical timber-barrier concentrate for neat wood treatment on structural framing and outdoor public timber (park decks, boardwalks, pathways, observation platforms, plaza decks). A zero-water oil carrier is designed to deliver cedarwood, lavender, and eucalyptus actives into the wood pore structure and retain them on the treated surface — an intended retention profile versus the rinse-off behavior of many water-based sprays. Not a wash-off, non-leaching, or pest-free warranty. Termite station / void work is the T-Bait module; tick vegetation control is TickAGRO™.

The argument is delivery and retention—not restoration folklore. XyloSHIELD™ suspends cedarwood, lavender, and eucalyptus citriodora actives in a highly concentrated anhydrous lipid matrix. Applied neat, the carrier wets and penetrates raw framing, subfloors, joists, crawlspace plates, deck joists, stringers, and cut ends without introducing water that swells cellulose. Actives are deposited into the pore structure as a hydrophobic film engineered for comparative retention versus typical aqueous borates that rinse into soil with moisture — relevant for wetland-adjacent boardwalks and park decks as well as indoor crawlspaces. That on-structure presence is the point of the lipid system: sustained botanical defense where the wood was treated. It is a professional timber-defense formulation under EPA Section 25(b) minimum-risk positioning—not a structural warranty, not a guarantee of pest-free status, and not a claim that native wood oils are “restored.”

EPA Section 25(b) Exempt minimum-risk formulation. Intended for professional indoor crawlspaces, foundation lines, structural framing, and outdoor public timber (park decks, boardwalks, pathways, plazas) where neat field treatment and documentation are specified. Non-corrosive to typical plates and hangers when used as directed. Supports documentation of treated-wood defense and field-cut end sealing practice (AWPA M4-style jobsite tasks when specified) and alignment language for CSI Division 06 preservative wood-treatment scopes — does not certify CSI membership, government approval, CUF credit, code acceptance, or pest elimination. Orientation only regarding NYS restrictions on CCA / creosote / PCP lumber in many public structures — not legal advice. Sold to certified MWBE operators; ErythroAGRO is not advertising itself as the MWBE.

DO NOT MIX WITH WATER. Water undermines the anhydrous lipid delivery and retention profile. Agitate 3–5 minutes, then apply neat to raw wood framing, foundation trenching, deck / boardwalk timber, or field-cut ends using wood-treatment pails, pressure-injection rigs, or structural ULV equipment. Planning yield: up to ~5,000 sq ft deep-saturation wood-surface coverage per 5-gal pail (~1,000 sq ft/gal) for a neat multi-pass on raw lumber — field results depend on species, prep, and coats. Document cut ends, notches, and drill holes when the SOW requires field treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. DO NOT MIX WITH WATER across AgroSHIELD™, TickAGRO™, XyloSHIELD™, PhytoSHIELD™, and PomonaSHIELD™. Water undermines the anhydrous lipid / sustained-release matrix and voids the warranty. Apply neat. After neat application, rain is different: the hydrophobic film is designed to adhere so water tends to bead and run over rather than rinse the payload the way aqueous sprays often do — comparative retention intent, not a waterproofing warranty.

It ships and sprays as a highly concentrated hydrophobic film — not a water emulsion. The matrix is engineered for comparative retention versus water emulsions that rinse off more readily, with actives intended to release on a sustained schedule. Site results depend on coverage and conditions.

That is the Pilot work scope: neat treatment of raw framing, crawlspaces, and foundation lines before enclosure — auditable MWBE technical labor, not a finished-building pest program.
